New images in ARTstor: Buddhist Art from Lantian, China

Images and Quick Time Virtual Reality (QTVR) panoramas documenting Buddhist sculpture at Shuilu'an Temple in Lantian, Shaanxi Province, China have been added to the ARTstor database. To view them, login to ARTstor and either (1) browse by collection, and click "Shuilu'an Temple (Northwestern University)" or (2) enter the keyword search: "shuilu'an temple" or shuilu'an qtvr. PD Workshop: What's New in the Library

New in ARTStor: French Fashion Illustrations

65 images of early 20th-century French fashion have been added to ARTstor. These come from fashion plates for the magazine La Gazette du Bon Ton, that are now part of the Minneapolis College of Art & Design collection. The images are illustrations by prominent artists that appeared in the magazine, including hand-colored prints depicting the latest haute couture designs from Parisian fashion houses.
