Digital access to European Americana is now available through Palomar College Library

Palomar College Library now offers its users access to a digital version of the authoritative reference guide, European Americana: A Chronological Guide to Works Printed in Europe Relating to the Americas,1493-1750.

With more than 32,000 records related to European exploration of the Americas, including the Europeans' portrayals of native peoples, this resource is a valuable tool for those interested in European, Latin, or American history, post-colonial studies, and more. It was co-developed by John Alden and the Curator of European Books at The John Carter Brown Library, Dennis Landis. The John Carter Brown Library, founded in 1846, is a foremost repository of rare books and materials and is a center for advanced research in history and the humanities.
