Now Available: Images from UCLA's Fowler Museum and Colby College Museum of Art

Palomar faculty and students now have access to images from the Fowler Museum at UCLA and the Colby College Museum of Art.

The new collection includes approximately 700 images from the Fowler Museum's permanent collection. The Fowler collection includes art, ethnographicand archaeological objects from Asia, Africa, the Pacific and the Americas. The museum is home to one of the largest and finest African art collections in the United States, which is reflectedin the ARTstor collection. The Colby College Museum of Art is now sharing 2,500 images from their permanent collection. Their collection specializes in American art from the 18th century to present. Some notable artists include Winslow Homer, Georgia O'Keeffe and Kara Walker. View the collection in ARTstor here: http://library.artstor.org/library/collection/colbymuseum
